Karin Gulbran
卡琳·古兰 (KARIN GULBRAN) 1967年出生于美国西雅图，现工作居住于洛杉矶。
古兰起初是一位画家，用艺术语言探究她最感兴趣的话题：一切与自然界相关的事物。十年前，她开始采用陶瓷作为新媒介，将她独特的尘世意象转化为陶瓷创作。卡琳·古兰的每件作品都将观者带入其创作过程中自然流露的个人表现主义语汇中，灵感来源于各类植被和动物。正如艺术家所说：“我从与身边动物的关系中汲取灵感，它们可以是真实的，也可以是想象的，伴随着我对它们生存状态的共情。”
卡琳·古兰的作品被圣达菲TIA收藏馆和明尼阿波利斯沃克艺术中心永久收藏。
