Matt Mullican
马特·穆利坎1951年生于美国加州圣莫尼卡，目前工作居住在柏林和纽约。
马特·穆利坎致力于采用不同的媒介形式，从表演到环境装置，从雕塑到计算机图形。他的作品在各种对立，如现实与虚构、主观与客观、意识与无意识之间摇摆，不断影响我们的感知，更多由主观经验定义，而不是可见的客观现实。
他自七十年代中期开始加入表演的形式，在催眠下达到回归本质或者个性变化的体验，使自己的内心得到疗愈。
马特·穆利坎的作品曾参展维也纳双年展（2017年）、由马西米连诺·乔尼 (MASSIMILIANO GIONI) 策划的第53届威尼斯双年展（2013年）、光州双年展（2010年）、第28届圣保罗双年展（2008年），以及三次卡塞尔文献展（1997年、1993年、1982年）。
